Serves 4-6. Time 15 min.


1 bottle Rosé wine

1/4 cup simple syrup

1/2 lb strawberries, stems removed

1/4 cup lemon juice


Pour wine into a pan, cover and freeze overnight (this step can be done up to a week ahead in preparation). Liquify strawberries, simple syrup and lemon juice in food processor with a little water if too thick (can be done ahead a couple days in advance and stored in fridge). About a half hour before serving the beverage blend strawberry lemon syrup with frozen Rosé and freeze. Remove blender from freezer a half hour later when your guests arrive and blend again. Add to glasses, cheers!
